Delete your CupPhone account

You can delete your CupPhone account here, without installing the app. This cannot be undone.

Deleting your CupPhone account does not cancel your subscription. To stop future renewals, cancel it separately through Apple or Google.

iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and select CupPhone — Manage Apple subscriptions
Android: open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and select CupPhone — Manage Google Play subscriptions

What is removed

Your account, name, photo and CupPhone number.
Your copy of every message you sent or received, in both languages, including transcripts of translated calls.
Your copy of every voice message.
Your call history, your contacts, your blocked contacts, and reports you submitted.
Your usage for this month and subscription records stored by CupPhone.
Technical activity records: which screens were opened, which calls connected. These records do not contain the contents of your conversations.

The people you talked with keep their copy. Your conversations stay in their CupPhone accounts, including voice messages and transcripts of calls, and you appear to them as a deleted account, without your name, photo or number. The conversation is permanently removed from CupPhone once the other person deletes it or deletes their account. Copies saved outside CupPhone may remain.

What is not removed

A subscription bought through Apple or Google. Your subscription is managed by Apple or Google, and we cannot cancel it for you. Cancel it as shown above, or it will keep renewing.
Your conversations, in the accounts of the people you talked with, as described above.
Records we keep for accounting and analytics. They contain no message content and no name, email address or CupPhone number. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Copies in our backups and server logs, for up to 35 days, after which they are deleted automatically. Backups are only used to restore the service after a failure. Server logs record technical events, such as a sign-in or a code email that could not be sent, and some of them include your email address.

Delete your account

We’ll send a six-digit verification code to the email address linked to your CupPhone account. Nothing is deleted when you request a code.

Your account is permanently deleted when you enter that code and press Delete my account. You lose access immediately, and your data is deleted from CupPhone at the same time, apart from the accounting records, backups and server logs described above. This page confirms it once it is done. The code expires after ten minutes.
